05 — If you're comparing quotes

Compare like with like.

We don't publish other clinics' prices or comparisons built on numbers we can't verify. If you have a quote from home or from Cartagena, this checklist helps you put it next to our plan fairly, with the flight included.

  • Material and brandIPS e.max porcelain, zirconia, composite? Which implant brand? Two veneers with the same name can be very different materials.
  • What the price includesSmile design, number of appointments, lab work, and crown plus abutment for implants. Ask for the total, not a loose per-tooth number.
  • Where it is madeWe make veneers and crowns in our own lab, in the same building as the clinic. Ask whether your quote uses an outside lab.
  • Written warrantyHow many years it covers and what happens if something fails later.
  • Time and appointmentsHow many appointments and over how many days, so you know how much time off you need.
  • The cost of the tripAdd the flight and your days in Medellín to our price to compare the real total.
06 — FAQ

Coming from Cartagena, straight answers.

Do you have a clinic in Cartagena?

No. Our only clinic is in Medellín, in the Q Office Building in El Poblado. All treatment happens there; patients in Cartagena fly over for their appointments.

I'm on holiday in Cartagena. Do I have time to get something done in Medellín?

It depends on the treatment. Whitening is a single visit; composite veneers take two days; porcelain or zirconia veneers and crowns take 2 to 5 days. Tell us your dates in the evaluation and we'll tell you what fits.

Can I get implants in a single trip?

No. An implant needs two trips: the first (3 to 5 days) to place it and the second (2 to 3 days) for the final crown, about six months later once the implant has fused with the bone. If you won't be back in Colombia in that time, we'll discuss it in the evaluation.

What should I keep in mind if I keep travelling after treatment?

You get written instructions for each treatment. For example, after whitening, avoid coffee, red wine and dark drinks for 48 hours, and after veneers, stick to soft food for the first few days. Any questions, message us on WhatsApp.

Will someone pick me up at the airport?

Veneer packages and All-on-4 include airport pickup. For smaller treatments, your written plan tells you which transfers are included before you book a flight. José María Córdova airport to El Poblado is 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic.

Do you speak English?

Yes. Our whole team speaks fluent English, from the evaluation to the last appointment.
